Waypoint Plymouth was born out of the love of Tactical Gameplay, and the pursuit of real-world, fun activities. Some of you may remember that we had our first Arena back in 2021, but we closed shortly after opening due tragic events at the time, and respect for the people involved.
Well, time has moved on, and new opportunities have arisen, and so we have
taken one or two of them and decided it’s time to reactivate the company – with a brand new Arena! This time though we are based right in the middle of Plymouth City Centre, for much easier access, which will make it far, far easier for you all to come and join us too!
Another big difference this time, is the type of Arena, and the equipment. Before, it was massive, and we were using the world’s best military-training laser-tag kit. This time, the Arena is smaller and more compact, making it much more suitable for “CQB,” or “Close Quaters Battle.” Perhaps most importantly however, is the fact that we are focusing on the world’’s most popular, public-facing tactical activiy – Airsoft!
We will also be offering plenty of other more family-friendly games such as Archery Tag, which is affectionately known as “dodge-ball with arrows,” as well as actual dodgeball, a more mainstream Laser-Tag – for now, Nerf kit, VR and AR, and even a combat-ready Light Sabre school!
Sessions will be pre-booked on our site with a very easy to use system, and walk-ins will be welcome if you’re lucky and it’s not full, but we strongly suggest pre-booking. We will also be running tournaments, and there will be a chance to sign up as a member and join a rolling league, for both individuals, and teams.
